Barbara and Lorenzo’s Wedding
It makes us very happy and proud that the Love My Dress blog has published our photoshoot of Barbara and Lorenzo’s wedding.
Moreover, capturing emotions to tell others is the most beautiful part of our work.
Sometimes out of the ordinary wedding ceremonies happen, with fun touches of originality, just like that of Barbara and Lorenzo, who for their most important day decided to mix and unite the different traditions of their countries, Venezuela and Italy.
The result was an unforgettable party, cheerful and solemn at the same time, light years away from the formality that often characterizes weddings.
A dream day, framed by the unique setting of Florence and its surroundings, the location chosen by the couple.
Florence and its wonders.
How can a marriage celebrated in Florence not be imprinted in the mind and heart?
Barbara and Lorenzo had no doubts about it. Perhaps no city can be as sweet and romantic as Florence for a wedding day.
Barbara and Lorenzo exchanged promises of love in the Sala Rossa of Palazzo Vecchio, Florence’s town hall and the most chosen wedding venue for civil ceremonies in Tuscany.
Everything, from the walls to the floor, from the curtains to the upholstery to the precious furnishings, is dominated by an intense red color, which helps to give the room an atmosphere of amazing solemnity.
Art and history can be breathed in every corner of the room, a breathtaking location for an unforgettable wedding.
After the ceremony Lorenzo and Barbara, she radiant in her original red-flowered dress and matching headdress, did a short photoshoot in front of the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio before meeting up with the guests in the Lungarno room with its beautiful terrace overlooking the river Arno.
The day after the celebration of the civil ceremony in the Sala Rossa in Florence, Barbara and Lorenzo celebrated a “second part” to swear eternal love.
The couple chose the splendid Villa Maiano, an exclusive dream wedding venue in Fiesole, for the occasion, on the beautiful hill overlooking Florence, and one of the most evocative villages in Italy.
The ancient and prestigious 15th-century residence, embellished with period furnishings, frescoes, and tapestries, is surrounded by a large and lush garden. It has a magnificent panoramic terrace from which you can enjoy a spectacular view. There is also a lovely chapel inside where it is possible to celebrate religious ceremonies.
No wonder it is considered one of the most beautiful luxury wedding venues in Tuscany and that Barbara and Lorenzo chose it to crown their dream of love.
After a blessing in the fountain garden, the reception then began in the main garden in front of the villa.
The sofas and the soft glow of the chandeliers created a magical, incredibly romantic, and soft atmosphere.
The highlight of the party took place late at night.
The wedding planners brought boxes full of masks, soap bubbles, confetti, balloons, glasses and hats, with which the guests had fun dancing the Samba.
A fun, colorful, cheerful and original night, without forgetting the thread of romance that is essential for any wedding.
