Tania and Roberto, a dream of love amidst the Tuscan hills.
Like any modern fairy tale, the love story of Tania Karboff and Roberto Balcker began casually, almost for fun, through a dating app. It did not take long for that feeling, which was initially only digital, to materialise in a relationship made of trust, attraction and mutual respect. Two very different personalities, yet incredibly compatible and inseparable. Within a couple of years, the decision came to turn that story into a long-term life plan.
The hills of the Val d’Orcia were the perfect setting for the crowning of their love story. For their “yes”, the spouses opted for a suggestive outdoor ceremony, intimate and moving, without frills so that their love could be the undisputed protagonist of the day.
And what better time to crown a dream than at sunset? The ceremony took place in a green amphitheatre in a dominant position over the Tuscan countryside. Romanticism was the constant theme throughout the day, to the reception dinner under the stars, accompanied by hundreds of candles and enlivened by a surprise opera show. A ceremony that lasted until the first light of the morning, between dances, laughter and many surprises.
The special day was not restricted to the date of the celebration, but the couple wanted to spend an entire week in Siena region, together with their closest friends and family. The Tuscany Equestrian Resort in Sarteano, chosen as the wedding location, was the starting point for a series of visits and events in the area: from food and wine itineraries at the Brunello cellars to the summer festivals of Montepulciano, Montalcino and Siena; from the Uffizi tour to the Vespa outings between tastings.
The bride and groom say:
“For the photoshoot, we opted for a style that could convey, in total naturalness, the whole range of emotions that characterised our stay in Tuscany. In search of the spontaneity of hugs, kisses and even tears, we preferred a reportage style to be able to work with the utmost discretion without interfering with our special day. Forced poses and studio lights were banned: when there are real feelings there is no need for anything artificial.”
The result is a narrative that captures the most significant moments and emotions of that day. Because, even if the wedding day is destined to become a distant memory, the feelings transmitted with photography remain unchanged and imprinted forever.
