Elopement Wedding, in everyone’s imagination, when we think of a fairytale wedding, we automatically think of a mega party with thousands of guests. If, on the other hand, we think of an intimate wedding, we imagine a civil ceremony, with a maximum of four people, bride and groom, two witnesses and nothing more.

Elopement is the true unconventional wedding,

as opposed to those who think that weddings have to have lots of guests to be exciting.

The bride and groom, who chose us to photograph their wedding at Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, exchanged their vows, became emotional, hugged, moved, and fully enjoyed their love, in their intimacy.

We followed the bride and groom from the preparation at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo to the very intimate and reserved ceremony at Villa del Balbianello, a romantic location on Lake Como and one of the most luxurious and exclusive in Italy, famous for the 007 movie scene.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom sailed along the Lario coast on a legendary Riva launch, enjoying the beautiful views of the lake, during the couple’s photo-shoot.

Elopement, what does it mean?

Elopement means an escape for love.

While this type of celebration is very common in America, it is not yet widespread in Italy.

In recent years, the decision to reduce the number of guests by choosing to enjoy the intimacy of the event seems to be a growing trend in the Bel Paese as well.

Fewer guests, but without neglecting attention to detail, and the choice of increasingly exclusive locations that almost always host open-air ceremonies, with luxurious arrangements and breathtaking views.

A wonderful suite, a beautiful villa and a luxurious means of transport are undoubtedly the perfect ingredients to frame a fairytale wedding.

It was great to experience this wonderful couple’s most beautiful day together, capturing their smiles and tears.
