Fabio and Laetitia live in Geneva, Switzerland and chose the beautiful medieval town of Certaldo Alto to frame their wedding ceremony.
Certaldo is the village that gave birth to Giovanni Boccaccio, author of the Decameron.
On the first day this lovely couple celebrated their civil ceremony in the historic Palazzo Pretorio, the castle at the top of Certaldo Alto.
A ceremony full of emotions and great moments.
We love this town, our town, and we are always honored and emotional when photographing the couples who decide to marry there. It really is a small enchanted corner where time has stopped, a town with rich views and marvelous scenes of the olive and wine groves of famous Chianti hills.
The second day and another picturesque location, the historic location of Borgo Stomennano, with breath-taking view of the towers of the nearby Monteriggioni, a shot distance from Siena.
The symbolic ritual, the reception and the party were held there.
From the very first moment of the wedding preparations, you could already breath the fairy tale atmosphere in the rooms of this beautiful wedding venue.
The wedding blessing was celebrated amongst a mixture of funny and emotionally touching moments.
Finally we could not miss the icing on the cake, the party, which was as crazy as all of the guests!
Special thanks to Claudia, their wedding planner in Certaldo, for the amazing organisation and the perfect planning of the event.
