In early September, as the Tuscan countryside glows with warm golden light, McIntyre & Colton
travelled from the United States to the heart of Chianti to celebrate a refined black-tie wedding
inspired by elegance and the effortless charm of the Italian Dolce Vita.
Their celebration unfolded at Villa Petriolo, a historic Tuscan estate surrounded by vineyards, olive
groves, and cypress-lined paths, naturally embracing a romantic, editorial vision.
The wedding day began inside the villa’s elegant interiors, with intimate moments of getting ready
marked by soft light, quiet emotions, and shared laughter with close friends. The groom waited with
emotion as the bride, radiant in lace, walked down the aisle on her father’s arm — a moment that
set the tone for a ceremony both heartfelt and cinematic.
Framed by the rolling hills of Chianti, the ceremony featured a refined palette of ivory and white
florals, chosen to complement the surrounding landscape and highlight a measured, elegant
aesthetic. A formal dress code — with groomsmen in classic black tuxedos and bridesmaids in
long black gowns — defined the tone of the day, creating a striking visual contrast and a distinctly
editorial presence.
Following the vows, guests gathered for an aperitivo beneath the Tuscan sun before moving to
dinner along a breathtaking cypress-lined avenue. An imperial table extended through the
