The Villa Il Balbianello at Lario, on Lake Como, in the north of Italy, is one of the best locations in Italy for an exclusive wedding. Lan and Dan chose this wedding venue for their wedding day. When we spoke with this couple for the first time, we fell in love with them for their enthusiasm and joy. We immediately understood they were unique, which was confirmed after hearing their story … The bride proposed first in Edinburgh, Scotland. The groom also proposed, one month later, in San Francisco, in the U.S. On the wedding day, after their preparations and some shots of the first look, everyone moved by boat to the historical Villa Il Balbianello. The wedding ceremony was set in the Loggia Durini, accompanied by the romantic music of the harpist and a soprano. A tea ceremony honouring the bride’s Asian origins was also held here. Then the aperitifs in the villa garden and some wedding photos under the famous holly oak. The indoor dinner was held at the Loggia Segrè, followed by cutting the cake and the wedding party that started with the first dance on the outdoor dance floor.
